Using 3DMax for skins

Would it be logical or possible to use 3D Studio Max to create a really kickass 3D skin for WAM3? I have no idea how to skin for 3 yet but was thinking if it uses images like .jpgs then I could infact use Max. If anyone is familiar with the program I'm talking about and if its possible let me know. I want to get started on a new one using either 3D Max or my adobe programs. Thanks.

Thumbs up

I don't have 3DSMAX, but any 3D program can generate artwork that can be used for WA3 skinning. The skin that I am (slowly) working on now has models generated in Caligari Truespace and rendered in Corel Bryce. With plenty of PSP thrown in as well.
