I like it. Your gonna get crap bout the tiny thinger i bet, but o well, I don't mind it small. Is the bal gonna be vis? That'd be uber 1337! Im curious to see mini/stick/shade/ect. modes for this.

[edit]
also, how do you plan on shownig Shuffle, ect. enabled/disabled? I hate the new sknis that have no clear difference between on and off.

Is the empty button above open/eject going to be the switch mode button?
[/edit]

the shuf etc. buttons will be on down state when pressed indicating that they are on.

oh and I know, the thinger is kinda crappy but oh well, there will most likely be an option for a free-standing thinger.

//edit//- the ball will be an uber-cool visualisation... but there will also be an option for regular vis too

small thingers are fine imo, as long as you can determin what is what...

on the gfx side, i think everything is a little too blurry still, some 1 pixel strokes around shapes could work very nicely , otherwise its really good

This is supposed to be realistic.. in the real world, objects don't have 1 pixel outlines

Lookin good! But I don't know if MMD3 has anything to worry about yet.

What does that black button between the crossfade and shade buttons do?

edit: I don't know if you've ever tried shrinking the thinger icons in an actual skin, but they kinda come out looking like ass, making some icons illegible. Might want to reconsider the size.

And I see you like my signature format.

VAG: I absolutely know what you mean...about the heavy duty device thing. I was looking at a cool heavy-duty walky talky system at sharperimage...

http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/ca...catid=43480400

and I was trying to find way to incorperate hat look into the skin. but no orange, I know what you mean but.. bleh

don't take it seriously that quick design, but to add something in the black round plastic should make it even greater

Not trying to pick a bone from an egg, but RLF all your skin appears to be a bit "bland" not sure if that is the right word. Maybe it is the way of your shading, the skin doesnt look that sharp. Maybe try be more bold with the coloring or something.

But again, who the hell am i to dudge, kick ass skin

I see that you use quite a bit of white and black for highlight and shadow, maybe try a bit dodge and burn? The "plastic" look is very nice though

Bullshit. you're completely wrong...

YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO JUDGE!! :P
That's why I posted it in the forums... to get opinions on it. Heck if I didn't want anyone's opinion... I wouldn't have posted it.
You are completely free to express your thoughts on this piece, or any of my work

So... about your comment.. I agree with you. I look at MMD3 then I look at this. MMD3 has so much "spice" and contrast... it's very "attitude-ish" and eye-catching.
When I look at mine I just see a realistic-looking boring skin. no contrast, no exitement...
BUT THAT'S WHAT COLOR THEMES ARE FOR!
hehe, and I'm also going to spice it up a bit more before we start to code.

Example of PAD spiced up:
*green neon

alot better i have to say, maybe it is just the color. But the thing with MMD is it's use of color is very bold. Very little shading along the side (just enough to bring out a little bit of "3Dness" out) which allows maximum space or "oppertunity" for color to show alot of contrast.

Another question, when we do color theme, how do we know which code stand for which color??? it is certainlly not the RGB code, or am i just ignorant?

I looked closer at MMD, they really do have rich contrasting colors... that's how it's so eye catching. Everything is either really dark, or really light. As with mine, everything is just blan.
but... hehe. Check out this screenie. This might be a color theme I'm not sure... but damn do I like this one:

You've got five skin projects going on at the same time. Why not finish one before starting another?
