I like the new buttons that SLoB added but when the thing Lights up to beats, It does look plasticy in WA3. In WA5 for some reason looks different and not so bad. I did like the way it looked in your first .wal Rontz.

the way the lights worked in your test .wal RontZ,

new fonts and locations i tryed in this .wal, Also added a song info line and moved some stuff, this is done in WA 5 so wa3 will look weird. mtrx1.wal

also what do you guys think about these boarders on the standard frame, which will work better in Winamp 5 SloB.

Also check this AVS made for the skin

will check all the stuff out in a while & digest the posts & wals
and integrate anything into the main wal

as for the fonts yea its easy
just declare the font bitmap and giv it a gammagroup and then reference this bitmap for the fonts file, wonder if ya could do the same in wa3? after all its just a bitmap, whether the fonr will actually work off this image is another matter

i like the second one better
I'll make sure the stuff is all sorted this weekend, change around the play/pause buttons and add an eject (far right?)
i wasnt quite sure where to place the songinfo stuff but i like the places chosen, think we should maybe have a choice of either bitmap or normal font to use.
will make the menu a little more easier to find for the vis with that logo thing, maybe glow it on enter and have either left or right click access to the menu.

will add some more menu buttons stuff to it also for the winamp menus, are we going to add a thunderbolt to this for the about, we could have our own about ?

as for RoNtZ's way the vis worked i changed it to glow rather than darken
i thought it looked better to increase the brightness of the tenticle lights rather than make them darker back to the main look to give the whole skin some menacing feel, so i took one of the frames and brightened the grfx & added emboss to give it a little more highlight

i think we need to decide on which way we want it or we could have both with a menu option to either glow or darken, i reckon this is best and it could be stored per user preference. what ya reckon? we could tone the brighter grfx down a little, dont forget we have 2 gammagroups aswell for this which can be changed to however each theme is.

Ya, I liked the less menacing lights.
If you can configure it in the color themes do that. I think the less brighter should be default thought.

Xcalibur-AI is working on a shade mode.
Cant wait to see what he makes.

What do you think about the standard frame borders?

Do you think we should have quik buttons on the skin for the new features? Internet TV, Radio, cd ripping? these would be small buttons....

Cant wait to see what you do SLoB. Good job so far on all your work.

The AVS's coming along, they are making some cool stuff in the AVS forum. Also I made a Desktop Background for the skin that will have a link to it on the skin with the AVS's..Wallpaper

hi again. as i didn't like the old border, i just made a new one. it's a bit cut of at the edges and a bit to bright at the moment, but i love it, for some reason

QA - like the frame but im not so sure about the big red parts, maybe make those thinner?

RoNtZ - yea gives it a bit more impact , we could have a selection of overlays which could be for alternative grfx etc..

R-Glow looks great, just give the png to Slob. That also can be adjusted in the color themes.

S-Red glass was added on the frame because i was not sure what it would look like when stretched.

Slob.. I added 6 diff backgrounds to the wallpaper as you requested. Put it as a Zip.

Also I will link our latest pre-alpha-ness here mtrx.wal

Hey guys. I am going with this skin all the time. I will start making an Asskicking Manual for this. But i have to say one thing: The third Matrix movie ins´t worth for this job. But the whole Trilogy? Maybe yes.

New AVS presets by gaekwad2

these are some new presets that can be viewed in winamp 5 for the skin. texer2.ape has to be in the directory and is included in this zip.

Any progress on skin over the weekend
SloB? I havent heard from Excaliber AI on the shade mode yet.

do you have winamp 5 Witmer? you know the stick mode, could you add some of its featrues on your stickmode?

Enfurno: you could try and make the standard frame http://forums.winamp.com/attachment....postid=1154981

fit better in a frame, you know how to add it to a .wal?

Well this is what happens when you stretch the modern winshade mode. You can either pass your graphics to Enfurno so he can add some features and or enhance your Stick mode version or you can add some of these.. buttons yourself if you wish.

*LOL* Quad, that sounds weird, very weird! *g*

I was born in Fuerth but i don't know how it's called in english. how old have you been when you left germany?
erm, witmer, about your modes: i don't like the white parts... there are way too much edges in there, too
in your stickmode, the middle part looks like you cut it from another skin and put thesetubes above it *g* (and try to include more red lenses ) i think diesels' concept was nice, but some few
things
