Sure will, main version will most likely be blue.
The colours are a little messed in this image (compression)

And thanks Tomoto face, I'll ask Nemesis.

i agree, wasnt really a reason for you to mention BOOM in somebody elses skin thread, D-Shock looks nicer in my opinion anyway.

Robouk did you find a coder for this thing? i wanna see it in action, if you need a beta tester ide be glad to test it for you

looks great robouk!

Maybe you could integrate the volume control this way;
Make the play button a bit smaller, and have the volume control as a ring around it, which you slide similiar to a circular knob.

I have another suggestion, for the name - the skin reminds me of those baby-g watches - "D-Shock" is maybe a bit to "hard" a name, perhaps a softer and cuter name would reflect it's look more.

Also, (I dont know if this is intentional or not) the thingy panel isn't quite aligned, if you look closely, the right side falls behind the main part a bit higher up. Also there is a bigger gap between the left purple and metal and the right purple and metal. This has happened in some interfaces i have designed, if you leave it for too long it becomes a real problem.

Again, a great look!

Thanks again for the continued comments and ideas. I'm glad people are interested, it makes me work faster =)
Blueballs: I'm not gonna let this one slip into the "non completed folder" and am sure it will get finished.
I have asked Nemesis to code it and he says he will review how much he has to do and get back to me within the next 2-3 days.
I have finished the main window now including all down button states but still not happy with that draw at the bottom.
I am thinking of putting the EQL in the draw rather than the thinger since that would make it easier to use. The thinger will most likely be separate but hasnt been designed yet.

Cluver, the name D-shock just came to mind when it started to look like a shock proof mp3 player, it does sound a little hard but I cant think of anything better right now, if you have any suggestions thats great. Also, I'll fix the mis-aligned draw hehe. I also already added the volume as the up/down arrows but thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Thanks again, I'll keep you all posted.

Here was my idea for the 1st winshade mode, I liked it at first but somehow im not quite sure about it.
The idea is the screen slides up when you click on it, click on it again and it returns hidden.

comments would be appreciated.
The other winshade mode is going to be a flat very small one.
sorry about the clours ^ (compression)
Thanks

Really kewl. But I have a suggestion, if you could somehowmake the Main player "morph" into the winshade mode, that would be rad. Instead of just an instant change.

Other than that, the winsahde looks awesome.

Love the winshade, but I have only one problem with it...

Whenever I use winshade mode in a skin, it usually sits in upper-right side of my screen and if that drawer will slide upwards, well, you can see that's not really good... How about making it slide downwards?

Robouk - All I can say about your work is, OMG! This skin is awesome. Love the WinShade mode as well. I know you have the volume controls as the arrows already, but I was thinking. What if you put a volume 'ring' around the play button? I don't know if that would be possible or not, but it would be kewl if so.

Nant, since im not totally happy withe the screen part right now I think I will re-do it.
I may well make it slide out at the bottom as it makes good sense =).
Keep the comments coming, thanks.

Either way, I'm not happy with that screen, I like the bottom part but the screen to me looks weird since its not symetrical like most of the skin. Its also a little big and chunky, Its bigger than the bottom part therefore I'm not even sure if you can have it as a draw (it would poke out the bottom)

As for where it should slide out top/bottom, where do most people have there winamp in winshade mode?

oh oops, they changed that hehe
oh well it was better in the alpha/betas anyway

I love the winshade mode too, looks a lot like sonque's.
sonique's winshade drawer was smart enough to swich from top to bottom position according to where you position the player, that would be a great feature Robuk. Like nant, I also put the winshade player on top edge of my screen...

PS: oh and blueballs, I have absolutly no time to flame a () like you.
now stay nice, cause all you're doing is add crap to a great skin's thread.

If I was to have the draw detect where the player was placed and slide out accordingly I would have to have it poke out the top and the bottom which might look weird. Althought I like the idea.
I still need to re-do the screen part of the winashade mode cause I dont like it right now.

Thanks for the input.

first of all... GREAT SKIN!!!

you should put two drawers, one on each side. make one of them have volume, bass, and trebble/volume, balance, crossfade

and make the other the thinger, which scrolls vertically.

btw.. you can have a drawer thats bigger that its base.
vice did it in his D-K9 skin (supershaded)

Ok, here is Winashade the improved version (IMO)

The seek bar would slide down when you mouseover the part that pokes out. As for the screen, if you click it it will slide upwards.
This image shows how it will look like with the screen/seek in and out.

Comments?

Looks cool. I guess I'll just put the skin a bit before the top, so there will be enough room for the slider... Great job.

That's where the snap point is going to have to be anyway, unless who ever codes it knows a way around this?

The winshade look great Robouk, and I really love the seek bar, especialy with it comming out on mouseover.
