I flat out refuse to install real player and often tell people what ass holes they are for using such a dredful format. I don't care what's in a real file I'm not going to load Real player to find out. Nor will I use any other player that will only support the use of Real files, such as this player will.

Ah but there is Dinkwit. I just don't remember what the name of it was.

It's the Tara Plug-in for Winamp,
but you need RP8 or its codecs installed for it to work.
Which means you'll have RP on your system anyway.

Yes, there are...

I got the link for them from these forms, so if you do a search I'm sure you can too... (and they work fine with Tara and the other Winamp plugins).

(I would be more helpful, but I can't find the link again)

No, just the codecs; which are available as a separate download (not from Real though)

But no matter what alternatives you have they can't play streaming videos embedded in webpages.

Thanx

Can't you use Streambox to download them to your hard disk and play them like that?

One thing I experianced with Streambox is that most of my attempts failed or the quality is bad.

Thanx
