No, not directly with Winamp, but you can try this java clone

You can't. Winamp [to my knowledge] can't be embedded into a web-page in that way at all, ever . The Java-player is a very good substitute and as its skinnable your client may not even know the difference

S'a little like getting blood out of a stone this . In order for it to be 'embedded' into a web page it needs to be something that *can* be embedded in a web page, (I'll be corrected for this I'm sure) so that effectively limits you to 'active x controls' [windows media player will work in this fashion], 'flash player' [not sure if it will player mp3s, but you'd either need to get and off-shelf 'media player' of write a flash media player yourself or applets.

The foremost option will only work in IE browser on windows platforms (possibly macs too). The middle option may work, but I don't know anything about it. The final option (applets) is [relatively] guaranteed to work in any browser supporting java on any platform supporting Java. An applet in a webpage is the way I (as a developer) would implement this. In fact if you go to their website I remember one of their links had exactly the functionality I've described.

I am a little biased as I'm just finishing a Media-Library for this project so I can get my WombatSharing working with it.

If you don't want to use our recommendation of jlGui MP3 Player Java applet (Winamp clone), then the default <embed> tag for <type=audio/mpegurl> will use Windows Media Player Active-X Control.
Other options are RealPlayer or QuickTime Active-X controls (urgghh), or Shockwave Flash Player.
