hey, is there anyway to disable id3v2 tags with the new winamp. i thought there was a way when Winamp switched over to them (v2.666 i think) but i haven't used a new winamp since then (until now) bc i disliked it so much...

anyway, is there an option i am missing that will make my playlist ONLY show id3v1 tags (without checking off the box for all 3500 of my songs)? thanks in advance

pj

Radical solution : you can use ID3-Kill to remove all ID3V2 tags from your mp3s while keeping the ID3V1 ones. Be very careful if you use this program however

Another solution would be to download a mass tagger such as Dr. Tag or MPTagger and copy the ID3v1 tag into the ID3v2 fields.
