autoupdate library

hey guys, i'm new here and i got a question:
Is there a setting for winamp that it will automatic update my library. For example, i added a new song to the music file. The library can't find it, since it is new..or when i changed the directory of the music, the library can't find it as well.

So is there an auto-update for the library like windows media player?
Thanks, strawberries

The easiest way to auto add new files would be to checkmark:
Winamp > Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Media Library > Local Media > Watch Folders tab:
"Automatically add played files"

However, this requires you to actually play the new files in Winamp first.

Other than that, you can also checkmark "recan folders at startup" and/or "rescan folders every x minutes", and make sure "auto remove missing files" is checkmarked (which it should be by default).

If you change the name of the containing root directory, then you'll need to make sure said folder is added to the Watch Folders list first.
