#1 - v2 DNAS (dev version i can't remember if it's build 25 or 26 though)
#2 - XP iirc #4 - SC DSP though wasn't 2.2.2 that i remember (think it was 2.1.1 when the test DNAS was provided). Quote:

What version of the DNAS are you running? 2.2.2
What operating system are you running it on? win-7 What does the stream's status page say about the stream's status? What are you using to source the DNAS; Transcoder, SC DSP, or something else? sc dsp |

(really had thought it was XP, heh).
if it's still doing it, you'd need see what is in the file tag of the file(s) it is having issues with as that's most likely where the issue is stemming from. or is it soundcard input you're using? (sorry but i really can't remember with a few other user issues on-going at the same time). -daz |

Have replied to the pm - basically what is present in the log doesn't look like the configuration is now correct (mainly no authhash in the YP add response so how it's been doing a successful add with that i don't know

I may have delete it because after pasting it I had error message that the content was beyond 3000 text.
But The Autohash key is in there and bitrate and avgbitrate and max bitrate are all 48000 what I think may be my problem is sc_tran, I don't have any sc_trans. I have none of that started. i am going to replace the one you sent and keep you posted. |

eh? you don't need to worry about sc_trans at all as you're just using the DSP and DNAS.
as per the pm, send me back a copy of your config so i can at least double-check that it is valid as the log file clearly showed an invalid response so something isn't right somewhere be it from the config file to the DNAS to the YP itself, hence trying to go through things to see what could be causing the issue. -daz |

remove the 'uvoxcihperkey' entry from your config file, otherwise it's working ok with the newer DNAS (which i've pm'd a link to).
that then points to the DSP being the next thing to try out (though i'm not sure how since i'm not seeing any issues with it when connected to the DNAS with the config you're running). one thing, are you running it with the DSP minimised? (have seen one person mention that caused disconnections for them - something i cannot reproduce). otherwise you could try running it at a different bitrate to see if that makes any difference. also i never got an answer to it earlier, is it Winamp or soundcard input you're using? -daz |

that's not an error, that's a valid response which indicates that it is working ok (and doesn't appear when not using yp2debug=1).
you really need to install the test version i pm'd and answer the questions from my last post. otherwise there's really not much i can do to help with things now for today. -daz |

I am using Winamp.
Holy macarone! are you running it with the DSP minimised?=yes because when i open winamp it disappear from my desktop. It opens but it will be hiding some where so i decided to minimized it to avoid it from disappearing on my desktop whenI need it. |

k, seems like you're seeing an issue i keep getting with the DSP where it'll minimise on loading (seems something is sort of triggering the dialog to be closed). am trying to find the cause of it and see if it can be improved (my fix i implemented last night doesn't seem to be as reliable in resolving the issue as i first thought).
basically for the time being, i'd suggest leaving the DSP window viewable until i can figure out a) what's causing it to close on loading and b) if being minimised is causing the issue you're seeing keeping the DSP connected or if it's just related to a). -daz |

Ok will do. Also it seems my remote access to my laptop is my issue. I am at work and whenever I connect to my laptop at home to change the music, then i start getting issue with the music output. either yp will not update or my music stop whenever I disconnect from my laptop through my homeserver.

some remote access methods (like what's built into Windows via remote desktop) will cause that to happen, isn't too much i can really do about that.
