Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search on 'open minibrowser'.

Look for a post by Mirlynn titled:
How to get minibrowser to open URL?

Syntax matters. Not http:/// I think that you put it in the link that you give out, but I'm not too sure.. Wait for someone else to come around and answer that.

Third Party DNAS Hosting. Bandwidth isn't free.

Advertising... Only applies to individual stream owners blantly posting to 'use their services' there is rules like you can use the 'Third Party Hosters' thing which is a spetrum of a lot of stream hosters compiled by partial website ( http://www.radiotoolbox.com ) but that's all beyond the scope of the topic (for more info visit this open thread: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=145207 )

localhost: this will apply only to your system, you will need to use a real world ip ( use http://whatismyip.com to figure it out )

if you have any more questions ask it! A friendly voluenteer will be right with you.

I was just joking about the advertising... I am running the shoutcast on localhost. Trying to open up a real website that has a realhostname.com I want to have winamp open to that particular website when anyone logs into my shoutcast or if someone has been tuned in for a certain amount of time, still havent gotten a straight answer :-) maybe i could be given a URL with some docs on doing so, i dont mind to RTFM. I'de just like a more simple approach then chasing threads here.

haha, on the advertising, Its kinda hard to be sarcastic on the internet.

So let me make sure I get this correct. You want to have a page on your site that tells/logs how long a person has listened to your station.
If thats what your asking it can be done by parseing the XML that shoutcast provides.
code:
XML Statistics:

The SHOUTcast DNAS provides an internal mechanism for providing statistics
to external applications via XML, which is useful for providing live
information on your DNAS embedded in other webpages via PHP, Perl, or
other methods which can implement XML. Accessing this data is a bit tricky,
so it's briefly explained here:

XML pages should be called via:

http://yourip:port/admin.cgi?pass=yo...viewxml&page=0
http://yourip:port/admin.cgi?pass=yo...viewxml&page=1
...

Where:
Page 0 is all DNAS data
Page 1 is only Main data
Page 2 is only Webdata Table
Page 3 is only Listener Table
Page 4 is only Songhistory Table

Your XML parser MUST send a User-Agent: HTTP header containing the
word "Mozilla" in order for the DNAS to recognize it as something
other than a listener.

and maybe this:
code:
Quick Statistics:

To snag a quick list of listener counts, server state, bitrate, and current
title, use the URL http://yourip:port/7.html

Ok, I wan the minibrowser to pop-up my site or others on startup of my stream, then if they are listening for and hour and had closed the minibrowser, it re-opens on them...

I know, i tell people about that sarcasm all the time, cant read faces on the internet, should have known better

haha...
ok then.

in your winamp DSP you'll see website as a value. Enter in your website and poof you'll have your website seen on the SHOUTcast.com yp (yeller pages) as well as the minibrowser. If you want it to do a advert type thing, additional programming may be required.
