Need permission to use Milkdrop Visualizations in my Youtube Videos

hope someone here that knows a bit more than I about visualizations.

I run a small record label and have this guy coming out that plays techno acoustic guitar. We shot videos of him playing his songs against a green screen with the idea of using a music visualization in the background.

Having a hard time to figure out how to get permission. Looks like I need permission of the creator of the visualization that uses the Milkdrop engine.

Would anyone here that has created a visualization for Mildrop be willing to give use permission to use it in the video?

We would give credit to each creator and our videos commonly get over 100,000 views, here is one of our videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDFP_MbvyGc

You can find a bunch of my personal presets on my account at deviantart: http://a-musing-discordian.deviantar...lery/#Milkdrop

On your question how to view a single preset or a selection:
You can lock the automatic preset change by pressing the [scroll] button on your keyboard.
Then, while running the visualization, you can browse the presets by pressing the [L] key.
If you want to have only a selection of presets to show up, you can put them in a separate folder.
By pressing the [R] button you can also switch off random order - by numbering your presets you can then determine a cycle. you can still switch to the next presets in the locked mode by pressing the space bar. But for full control without having the menu in the screen you can start Milkdrop in the VJ mode. You can find the option somewhere in the configuration settings. The VJ mode opens a second window to load and edit the presets.

nice video and great playing!
anyone know what those presets are? especially the turqiose and purple rings that sort of jump into different shapes (3:15 in for instance and before that too)

I know, that I can show You only a little part of very much nice YouTube-Videos with "Winamp & Milkdrop".
If You want to see more, You should search in YouTube for: "winamp visualization", "winamp visualisierung", "winamp video" and "milkdrop".

How do you guys get MilkDrop visualizations onto YouTube in the first place?

And how'd y'all recommend doing the same for, say, a mixtape DVD?

Much obliged!

Obviously you'll need Fraps or a similar video capturing software

Hello everyone,
there are a few screen-recorder in the internet: Fraps, Camtasia, Hypercam etc. But You have to do online-banking to buy the full versions of these screen-recorder, or You cannot use all the features of these screen-recorder.
You can also buy the deluxe premium version of MAGIX Video without online-banking. Only the deluxe premium version of MAGIX Video has a screen-recorder. I myself use MAGIX Video Deluxe 17 Premium, and I am very satisfied with my music-videos in YouTube...
Greetings from Sabine Klare Aka Sternenmaschinebine
