TransCoder 1 (one) Commands in Linux

This is transcoder 1 (I know old technology, but lets not go there)

; sc_trans accepts the following signals:
; USR1 - reload playlist off disk (will not interrupt current playing stream)

But what is the syntax for issuing the commands?

./sc_trans_linux USR1
./sc_trans_linux/USR1
./sc-trans-linux -USR1

So while I am here, SIGUSR1 - Reload playlist, in transcoder2 is executed with what syntax?

Regards
Tony

Quote:
kill -SIGUSR1 ###
where ### is the PID (a number) of the sc_trans process

or - if the program is called sc_trans (path is irrelevant)

Quote:
killall -SIGUSR1 sc_trans
same rules apply for sc_trans v2

So I did
