Limit kbps on server side?

Hi all,

I just installed my first Shoutcast server and I know that in the config file it is easy to limit the amount of listeners but what about setting a max. kbps rate for the streaming client? So lets say if the streaming client send data larger than 128kbps he should get disconnected ...

can not be done directly.

there are some methods to potentially limit what listeners can hear if the source is not at the correct bitrate, but not totally advisable, and can cause other issues.
