Connexct feature like spotify connect but for winamp

So I'd like to be able to stream music from one computer on my home network too another without having to chuck the mp3s on both machines, can't find an existing plugin for it but that could just be my wording sucking or something.

U could do it with shoutcast but it might be too techy.

Setting up SC isn't too techy, that's just absurd. I've used to run a small shoutcast radio for few of my friends out of my own computer and it was extremely easy to setup. And if you still don't know details from just looking at SC server's GUI, there are tutorials online, even on youtube.

But I agree that ability to stream directly from Winamp would be great, sorta ad-hoc SC.

I know many people who find winamp is too techy, let alone shoutcast. Since I have no idea the OPs skill level, I simply warn them it might be difficult for them. Not absurd.

In any case, i also ran the computers and shoutcast for my college radio station, and so i know it's not immediately obvious how to do it. i also used another piece of software (separately) called logitech media server that has a little known feature built in where whatever you are playing on it can be "tuned into" via a url, so an app like winamp could "listen" (stream) it. While that feature is pretty straight forward server itself has lots of weird complexity.
