@willsketch

I see entries in your log which suggest Norton Antivirus is meant to be installed, but it isn't actually running.

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [antivirus-2008pro.exe] C:\Program Files\Antivirus 2008 PRO\antivirus-2008pro.exe

Antivirus 2008 is widely considered to be a rogue antivirus program.
Did you install it knowingly?

This item (although listed as 'missing') is/was definitely bad!

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D032570A-5F63-4812-A094-87D007C23012} - C:\PROGRA~1\PRIVAC~1\tools\sp\sp.dll (file missing)

Fixing those bad items should hopefully prevent the problem from recurring,
but won't necessarily fix any mp3 files that have already been corrupted by it.

Thanks for the prompt reply DJ egg. Now that I've removed those two things I've downloaded FS_MP3Fix to fix the corrupted files. This is where I run into the problem, I can't understand spanish, and the google translation still leaves me baffled.

Can anyone tell me how to use this program?
