Can we run our own intro128.mp3 files?
Hi,
We are running our own Shoutcast server on our Linux hosted radios station site and I have a couple of questions (http://veritasradionetwork.com) 1. We see in DNAS docs that dropping a file name intro128.mp3 (our stream is 128k) should trigger that file to play at the start of every new stream but it doesn't work. (Yes, we did add the meta tag "Advert" to the artist and title) Our Channel DOES show up on Shoutcast and I do have a Radionomy account but the configuration to make this work remains a puzzle for us. 2. Do any of you know of a plugin or other tool that can track listener statistics (just sheer amount of clicks on the stream) over hours and days? Thanks in advance, Mike |

Hi
Re: 69.42.50.135:8000 http://wiki.shoutcast.com/wiki/SHOUT...d_Backup_Files You need to add this line to sc_serv.conf introfile=intro128.mp3 or if there's more than one stream on the server, streamintrofile_1=intro128.mp3 |
