Dead? Or not so much? Started using wa in 1999. Life was good. Click a few keys and my music was categorized and the player was wonderful. Then auto-tagging made my day. Since this feature is no longer available, I and probably thousands of others have been inspired to upgrade our grey cells. Now I struggle to learn simple (lol) coding for tags with EAC and MB. Not pretty.

Winamp without auto-tag? "You just don't know what you've got till its gone." Wish there was a way to integrate even a paid db into wa. I give a lot of credit to Dr O etal for helping us keep the faith even if wa appears comatose. Winamp is more than nostalgic, it is the standard. Just trying to add my breath to resuscitate the noble beast.

A new version will hopefully bring new n00bs and probably a few regulars too

I farted so loud it woke me up. So I came down to get a drink of water. Computer power light was still lit (computer otherwise asleep). I figured I'd at least wake it up enough to shut down properly, but then I saw my email up, showing a post in another thread. That led me to check GD. Then I found this. Wait, where was I going with this post?

For some reason, clicking on the llama's butt on the main page doesn't invoke the sound, although the direct link to the MP3 still works: http://www.winamp.com/beeeeh.mp3

edit: never mind... now that it's cached, it works fine.
