DSP 1.8.0 in Winamp 5

I am running winamp5 with DSP 1.8.0 so I can stream at 16/11. My operating system is WIN2000 on a PII running at 333mhz. My problem is the DSP 1.8.0 or DSP 1.8.2b (I tried this to see if it was the older DSP)is causing my Winamp player to stall. In the task manager it appears to be running but there is nothing happening. As soon as I try to stop or close the player it shows not responding. On some occasions it stalls at 3 to 4 min. of play at other times it will go for 8 or 9 min. before stalling. I thought it might be the server at my ISP so I loaded my own server to test this theroy with no luck. I still have the same problem. I have checked the log in ShoutCast and find nothing unusal there. Does anyone know about this? I have run out of ideas. Thanks, Yontan@sandpoint.net
