Static IP???
can u get a Static IP so when i give the adreess to my friends i don't have to change the IP and give them a new one...
i tried no-ip.com but the site doesn't make sence i did averything they say but in no moment they ask me for me http://MY IP:8000 page so when they give me the new adreess it says that the web page doesn't exist... can someone help me! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Contact your ISP. They are the ones that hand out your IP, we don't.

An organization like no-ip.com can give you a fixed hostname that will be equivalent to whatever your IP address is. So your stream URL might be something like http://myusername.no-ip.com:8000/listen.pls for example, and this would remain the same no matter what your dynamic IP address may be.

Anyone who knows about a solution on this little problem. I am trying to send in both .mp3 (shoutcast) and .wma format. Shoutcast is going okay, but .wma in Windows mediaencoder do I not manage. It says to me that the adress to use to listen is: http://computername:9000
The normal thing is to have: http://ipadress ![]() I have tried both of them but nothing work. I try to click: "Find free port" and use this free port but it does not work. I have also tried to forward these ports I am using in my router under "NAPT" section. Anyone here who knows? |
