The visitors of 1001skins seem to prefer Classic skins because the download numbers of the most popular Modern skins are lower than the download numbers of the most popular Classic skins – contrary to Winamp.com or DeviantArt (Modern, Classic).

Interesting, those numbers are actually carried over from the previous version of 1001skins, am I right?

Yes, I believe so. Skins released recently have no chance to achieve those download numbers because offline music players no longer rule.

Though, there is some weight to recent publishes but, there is a-lot less traffic these days due to non-existent support, releases and etc. of Winamp.

All things being equal; I could reset their counts...however, with all the years of operation doing so...would be both a blessing and curse.
