How to return to the beginning of the queue after playback, without repeat?
Hey everyone:
So I just downloaded Winamp 5.8 on my new computer after my old one died, and I am somewhat frustrated that when I finish a playlist and press the Play button to repeat it, it ends up playing the last track instead of from the beginning of the playlist. I could have sworn that on my old Winamp installation, it would jump to the beginning of the queue after the last track played. This is with Repeat off, I was able to repeat the playlist with Repeat on, but that's not what I want to do. I just want to jump back to the beginning after the end of the last track, and wait. Is it still possible to do this? Thanks for reading! |

You can use the Jump to Track general purpose plug-in (gen_jtt.dll) version 1.5. Use the Shift + J keys (when any Winamp window is active) to open a dialog that lets you enter the number for any track you want the playlist to start playing from (e.g. 1 if you want the playlist to restart from the beginning).
This plug-in also adds the "Jump to track" command to the group of "Playback" commands in the main player context (right-click) menu. Windows 10 Home 64-bit v20H2 desktop - Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system |

Oh, okay. So we've lost the ability to do this automatically in the new version, then? How unfortunate.
