Relaying a stream however do not have access to the servers config
Hi i am new to nsv and have read the thread how to relay a stream. However my problem is i do not have access to the config of the server i will be using. I can connect to the server using shoutcast dsp. Is there a way i could open a nsv feed in winamp and have that broadcast it to my server? thanks

oh relaying, i missed that part, you said you did it with the winamp plugin and i was thinking you were trying (like so many others) to stream with the dsp and having problems.
nope, you're screwed, you can't relay without access to the server, unless of course someone (such as yourself, but i don't forsee that happening) wrote a program to do it. ![]() ...get Nullsoft to [accept] new moderators? ... election? ... If Inedible Bulk is the candidate, then I give my vote. |

Try this, it is something I just whipped up to test out my NSVx. It'll let you relay without messing with any configs.
There are still some bugs to be worked out in the NSVx before I release that, but this app should work fine. Let me know how it works. |

it says Component "NSVx.osx" or one of its dependancies not correctly registerd: a file is missing or invalid. I want to do the exact same thing as the above poster yet i could not figure out a thing... stream ripper helps relaying nsv but it stores the file thats being relayed on my computer ![]() |
