Streaming NSV - Buffer UnderRuns??
First, I have a MSI TV@NYWHERE Capture card, and it does a marvelous job of capturing the video/audio for its affordable price. However i started playing around with NSV last night. I read the post of NSV for idiots, and the Intros to NSV. I've installed the vo3 vo6 codecs as well as many others for capturing video.
I've put up a shoutcast server on a 10mbit server from Chicago, IL. I ping < 40ms to the server from home and work. I'm capturing Comedy Central through Coax analog signal and feeding it thru the capture card to NSVTools where I am streaming. I would like to stream the video at 192kbps and audio at 128kbps or something close. This is for a friend in Holland who came over last week and wants to be able to watch Comedy Central in Holland ![]() However, last night after many tries it worked great! However, today It is very choppy, re-buffers every 10 seconds at the minimum. Is there any settings I should try, different codecs, utils etc? If you would like to see the stream to know what I mean PM me. I'm on a cable connection at home with 384kbps upstream. Thanks, ** I just Remoted into my box at home to change channels, and now I get this error: Cannot Create Audio Capture Filter ** from nSV Tools on its initial load* |
