Can't edit ID Tag

Since winamp 5 i am not able to edit the ID3 Tag anymore.. i liked the fact that i was able to do this.

I also tested this with a friends system.. where you can edit the ID tag.

Below is what i see.. i also do not know why i get the weird characters in the description...

You installed a bunk third-party MP3 decoder, looks like the MP3 Surround plugin. Remove it (or just do a complete uninstall and reinstall)

interesting.. that worked... you must be right about a plugin that fracked things up.

Can you maybe also point out why i cannot listen to wave's?
