Widget players not updating

I've just installed winamp on my new sony ericsson experia arc and added the 4x2 widget player to the home screen, but when I use the widget to start playing or skip tracks it doesn't update, the track changes but the info remains the same.

With the 4x1 player it updates if you skip from the widget, but if you skip or change the music in the actual app, then view the widget it hasn't updated.

Can't seem to find anybody else having this problem so I'm not sure if it's just me not enabling something (first android phone)?
