How To Use Winamp With Bluetooth Headphones?
Anybody ever figure out how to use bluetooth headphones with Winamp? Because my wireless headphones work fine everywhere except with Winamp. I've see other very old posts in the forum about this, but with no resolutions. I don't see anything showing up in Output or Input Plugins that I would select to get the headphones to work. Any suggestions?
Thank you. |

Well, if anyone else ever needs to know. Winamp does not switch to headphones automatically. You got to do it manually. Go into Options. Then Preferences. Select "Output". Click on "Nullsoft DirectSound Output". Click "Configure" at bottom of screen. Then change the "Device" field to the Headphones. It's probably on "Primary Sound Card" by default.

>1 year later and I came upon this. Thanks for sharing the preferences change. If anyone else still has issues, try enabling General Preferences -> global hotkeys. I had to do this for the audio controls on my Sony WH-1000XM4 to work.

Thanks for bumping this thread! With my 1000X Mark 3s, I've never had trouble playing -- my wAmp versions (on DirectSound output?) follow Windows in whereto sound is played. But I'd given up on trying to use the Xm3's buttons for controlling wAmp. Going to try tomorrow!
