Library Export does not contain real "Date Added"
After lots of searching in to forum, I decided to open a new thread. I have Winamp 5.666 Build 3516 with ml_impex.dll 2.64 and would like to export the media library and import it on another computer (both Windows 10 Home).
The import insists on setting "Date Added" to the date and time of import and does not have the real "Date Added" even though the XML file does contain a field "Date Added", which is in fact "Last Updated". There is a thread stating how this works -- in other words, saying that exporting and importing "Date Added" will NOT work. Does anyone know any way of programmatically changing the "Date Added" in the new library database to the old "Date Added" in the original library database? I have found the MLexport-Plugin, which does, in fact, export the real "Date Added". So I have the data in a file. The question comes down to: Can I programmatically change the library database? Any tips would be appreciated. |

How are you telling apart the 'fake' and 'real' date? How do you know the real date? What is used as the fake date?
