Winamp Crashes when getting track names

I apologise if this has been asked before, but I need some advice.

Whenever I put in a CD to rip, I get the usual MusicID box pop up when Winamp searches for the track names and such. But on quite a few occasions the box freezes on the 'Processing' part of the search. Within seconds, my winamp player freezes, I do a Ctrl, Alt and Del to bring up the task manager but that also freezes. I cannot access my task bar, start menu or anything when this happens. All I can do is Ctrl, Alt and Del and do a system restart.

I'm running the latest version on Winamp Pro 5.623 and my PC specs are:

Acer Aspire

AMD Athlon 64 x2 (2.1 GHz)
4GB RAM.
Running Windows 7 Pro

If anyone can help me I would grately appreciate it!
