empty entries in library and playlist

hi

suddenly got this weired empty entries of files that dont exist in my library (those without any bitrate).
tried to delete all missig files allready, but didint help..

using 5.63 for years now and thats definitly a new problem

i dont get it. i found out that those are hidden files and it seems they suddenly appeard in winamp. am using bootcamp and have recently achieved using fluke on my mac site so i can play flac in itunes..there could be a relation between that

scared to delete them not only that i could mess up my itunes but also delete the originals
very SCARED


is there a way to get rid of them inside my library without deleting them??

Select files > right click > "Remove from library"
The shortcut key is "Delete", but it does not mean delete from disk, only from the library.

i agree.

the Q tho is how did they get in there? its important imo to set winamp to scan a set area, and also automatically remove missing files. and, make sure no weird stuff is in the set area to be scanned, so it avoids those kind of weird entries. AND make sure winamp doesn't add things to the ML just b/c u play them, but rather only as a result of scans of the set area.

also, imo, you should be using the last released and patched ver of winamp. its ML is much more robust and reliable and less prone to fail.
