Audio distortions while scrolling.

Used 2 different sound cards and both cause this problem.

While music is running in the background with any media
player, when I scroll through IE, Netscape, whatever
allows scrolling through pages, causes a distorted
noise. This noise correlates within the exact time of
scrolling. When scrolling stops, the distorted noise
stops. When muisc is not playing, there is no distortion
at all.

What is the solution to this problem?

Just found the solution. Had to turn down hardware acceleration one notch. It was taking up too much bandwidth away from my audio.

increase the buffersize in your current output plugin's configuration
or swith the output plugin: directsound to waveout or vice versa
or disable smooth scrolling in ie (dunno where that option is atm)
post full system specs if you need further help

edit: cool.
