Shoutcast with SamBC

I'm trying to make an online radio service work and having zero success, maybe someone can help. I'm using http://easyhostlive.com to stream my station, I have Shoutcast and SamBC, using SamBC as the console, so to speak, to mix and send the signal. I've tried to enter the IP, UserId and Password into Sam and that doesn't work, I've tried to get Shoutcast to stream the signal to easyhostlive. When I enter the IP, UserId and Password into the configuration, it doesn't work. The information I do enter will not save after exiting. Basicly the question is, How can I send the signal to easyhostlive using SamBC and Shoutcast.

SAM is fully compatible with Shoutcast 1

If it's not working, you should open a support ticket with your host, or find a new host.

1st make sure you have the encoder set to Mp3 and know the max bitrate you are allowed to send. Make sure you bought at least 64K if not don't plan on getting many listeners as this will sound awful. I highly recommend 128K Mp3 as you can easily post your station in most directories. OK back to topic. If 128K set your sample rate to 44.1 Khz and then click the tab that says Server details and there you'd enter your servers IP address something like: and for the port you enter the port. For Station name make sure no one else on the Shoutcast has your radio station name. Say "Joe's Album Rock" Enter your Genre try keeping it down to two aka "classic Rock,Prog Rock" For the Website that is where you type your website EXample: http://thelegacyrocks.tk Now press File and Save Config. Press play and highlight your encoder and press F9. It should connect if you did everything right.

Make sure you have the newest version of SAM Broadcaster as well.

Hope this helps.
