complete newbie to shoutcast and MACS

I've downloaded what I think is needed to run shoutcast on my MAC using MP3's on my external drive. Yes they are in my Itunes playlists.

downloaded and expaneded to folders
sc_serv2_mac_os_x_intel_07_31_2011
sc_trans_mac_os_x_intel_10_07_2011

I've also installed winamp sync beta 0.7.2

all items are in a winamp folder on my MAC.

Is this functional out of the box or do I have to do some things to get this to work.

any info in layman's terms would be appreciated.
