Making Money with Shoutcast?

do yourll think that we broadcasters with over 100 listeners a day can earn money with shoutcast?

I heard that radionomy do pay for the broadcasters.....thats why i think maybe radionomy pay us too.....

no one knows what the new owners are going to do. yes their setup appears to do some ad revenue sharing, but doing that with SHOUTcast would require people updating to newer DNAS (the most likely assumption so things can be tracked / handled as needed) and are people going to be willing to do that? so there is no true answer to your question as it's not obvious / known what is going to happen or not (as SHOUTcast could just be left as-is with regards to making money from it i.e. you need to ensure the station is able to pay for itself).

I'd read the articles on http://broadcastingworld.net lots of interviews with radionomy there and from what I've read they plan on adding Shoutcast to their Radio manager. If this is the case not only will you be able to make money, but you will also have FREE stream hosting from them. rather its as good as paid hosting remains to be heard but we'll have to wait to see. Not much is being said anymore other than the articles on BW.
