MP3 encoding license

I would like to buy a MP3 encoding license but unfortunately the shop is unavailable. Where can I get such a license now?

I think its been discontinued on the account of Winamp being discontinued.

it's not meant to have been taken down for sc_trans but taking down the Winamp aspects has incorrectly affected things. am trying to find out what's going on or what can be done about it.

Ok thankyou i will keep an eye on this thread to hopefully get some news on wether they will let us buy mp3 licence, would be a shame as i have just spent time getting it all up and running smoothly but i need to be able to broadcast in mp3 format.

whats the news on mp3 licence? need it for auto dj in my shoutcast provider

there is no news and doesn't look there will be for some time to come (as a lot of things including licensing need to be sorted out before _any_ of the Winamp and SHOUTcast products can be provided again).

I am also needing a license. We hostage of the system and now we do not know how to solve it.

I'll be waiting for news on that.
