anyone know if there is a way to use your mic while broadcasting?

Yeah sure

1) Route your mixing desk into the (BLUE) line in socket on your PC

2) Then get your encoding software to pick up the audio from either stereo mix or Line in.

Then you should be able to hear your voice over your stream.
