No way that will give any good result. It should be theoretically impossible unless you own the vocal track separately and are able to do some audio arithmetics...

There's a little chance, though...In 'some' cases the vocals are found on the center channel of the mp3. Then there's a chance that by muting the center channel, the vocals will dissapear. There are some plugins avaiable from winamp.com that will do just this, where DeFX from the DSP section is one example. Try it out. I never get rid of the vocals properly, thoug...
