Someone to make actual player larger

Hi,

I hve the latest WA and using the Modern player.

On my Surface Pro 3 the Playlist is a good size (near 1/2 the screen) but the player is very very small in nthe other half of the screen.

I need this be very big.. near 1/2 the screen in fact.

Is there a service available where I can get this done please?

Thanks

oz

Hi,

Have you tried scaling the player window to a larger size?

Open the player's context menu (right-click on it's title bar) and point to the "Windows Settings - Scaling" command (near the bottom of the menu listing). Choose one of the options in the list that appears or make a custom percentage change.

If you don't like the results, it would probably be faster to Google search for another skin that better fits your needs.

There are some skins (very old in some cases) with big buttons, if you want I'd like you to test my skin specifically made with that purpose: http://victhor.deviantart.com/art/KO...reen-577329475. It's not perfect, but I can improve it if I can get user feedback on its actual usage..

PS / EDIT: I don't know why was the reference to "half screen", but if you plan on dividing the screen to have an Explorer window and a skin side by side, my skin can be resized freely (even has a window snap mimicking), or you can use the bundled Explorer to navigate your folders..

Which feature are you calling the "bundled Explorer"? I don't think I've found that yet.

Hi guys,

Many thanks for the replies.

The Surface Pro 3 Touchscreen has a screen res of 2160x1440.

I'm sorry but I didn't explain about the 1/2 screen.

I have increased the fonts in the Playlist so that the 26 song list takes up most of the right side of that screen. It is really easy to see the songs.

I just need the actual player to then be very large on the left side of the screen next to the Playlist.

Ah haaaa. As I was typing this I also tried your scaling..

Yes that's what I want. I set it to 300 then squashed it horiz to the left so that it fills that half of the screen. This is great !

To be very pedantic..

if I can just get those actual buttons maybe twice as large and

the highlight of the text song name that's playing maybe a yellow or white and maybe bolder or slightly larger so that it really sticks out.

This is what it looks like now..

BTW.. Use foot peddle to change songs

oz

EDIT: Just saw the site.. Wow you guys certainly are great artists..

But it doesn't work as I expected. I thought I could use it to navigate back and forth directly with the keyboard, but it doesn't allow that.
I can edit the address so I can get to the root ("F:\Mi Musica" in that case above) and then use Back and Forward buttons to navigate freely. It does the job, but it's not really handy.

Ok, thanx. I haven't explored the internal browser very much yet. So far, I've just been using it to find album art for the current song.

As you know, there are other ways to get to the Explorer folder of the current item. I generally use 1 of them.
