You can't go wrong with blue!!

I like it very much, but might I suggest you add a little depth. Perhaps a few drop shadows around button labels and/or a border around the entire thing. If you come up with a nice border to go around it, you could get away with making the _-X buttons a little more like buttons. She's got plenty of hair, can't hurt to hide a little of it

You can ignore all of those suggestions if you want to, I do like it the way it is. There's only two things I insist on. I assume the lightest shade of blue in the EQ bars is the EQ slider button, perhaps make it a little brighter so it doesn't get lost. And the other is the position bar (posbar.bmp). The rest of the skin is very flat, the posbar button shouldn't be so 3D. Let us know when you update

If anyone can find any of the skins I made please email them to Forevever@aol.com
I can't remember all the names but specifically hunting for Lascivious, and DEVOUR (compilation with Jax) and any in the Impulse series which had 6 total. Auriferous, Gilt, Impulse, Nadir, and 2 others I can't remember but you dig.

I disagree with Forever on the first paragraph but agree with her on the last two points. The Eq sliders need to be more pronounced but still flat and the posbar slider also needs to be flat.

Very nice, even though Anime isn't my thing at all.

Why isn't 0 stars an option?
J/K
I really like the skin. The gradients for the equalizer and the border around the entire skin I especially like.

I'm glad to see that someone is attempting anime skins without using a skinner.exe

Suggestions:

-Make the cbuttons a little more visible, but just a tad.
-I can't even see the shuffle/repeat buttons, but it might be that you're not finished with them.
-I'd just remove the mono/stereo text. It's not like anyone listens to mono songs these days anyway (at least not on winamp)
You can shorten the posbar in height, to make the skin look better. Just resize the posbar.bmp

(btw I'm not the one who voted 1)

Short sighted of you, I've got quite a few mono spoken word audio books, and I'm currently listening to a mono shoutcast stream as we speak.....

Yes, but I really don't think that you care much about knowing if it is mono or stereo anyway... it's not like you can change it to stereo or mono by clicking it.

I never said you could, I was merely pointing out your asumption that

" not like anyone listens to mono songs these days anyway (at least not on winamp)"

That's all, just because you say it, dosn't mean it's correct

but doesn't it's absence throw off the symmetry of the winamp controls, and limit the skin's functionality?

Great start Lain! Only comment - I'd like the sliders better if they were mopre similar to the eq bars, at least as the skin stands right now. You could also just whack off the slider buttons and do something like a small circle for a slider. But whatever - keep it up!

...a blatant person.

You're right jones.
I was saying that the mono/stereo does not play a major role in a winamp skin, but that had not much to do with what you said. So that's stupid of me. Once again, you were right.

Don't get me started...

I also think you should knock of the slider buttons and make a smaller round one, so that it doesn't stand in the way of the image too much.

This looks like it's gonna be a great skin. The EQ sliders are a little hard to tell where they are. Maybe you could put a thin line of dark blue in the middle of the button.
I agree with Forever. A couple drop shadows would look nice. Just light, blurred ones, but they'd definately help make the buttons stand out.
Did you draw the picture yourself? If so: That's amazing. I'm teaching myself to draw animé stlye and I'm finding out just how hard it is.

Very nice updates. Again I say "I like it!" Now where are those playlist, minibrowser, and avs windows

P.S. You can make your zip file smaller by lowering your color depth in the images to 256 colors, and maximizing the compression in your zip utility.

If anyone can find any of the skins I made please email them to Forevever@aol.com
