Well, I guess it's not "never say never", because it's an issue here again in Oregon. Hopefully the courts will do it's job and do what the people and the law told it, but you never can tell......

I'm sure the anti gay lobby will be back at it's guns again, if the courts overturn measure 36, which I really doubt will happen.

I know absolutely you could pass a "civil union" law here in Oregon, like Vermont. This is the problem. Gay's not only want the rights, they want this to be "just another lifestyle choice" and it to be the "same as marriage".

The problem is that every time they hold a parade or start legal weirdness like this, it pisses normal people off, and they get even more determined to stop them.

Measure 36 passed by the narrowest margin of any state that held elections on marriage. Oregon is pretty liberal.

But as gays push the point, they get further away from their goal, not closer.....

Maybe if they would shut up for a couple of years and quit having their freak show parades, they'd have a better chance. As a matter of fact, I'm sure they would.

I would vote yes on a civil union law and I am absolutely sure that gays could get that in a heartbeat. It's the "same as marriage" thing that is sticky.

To be fair, it is the same. But I don't have a particular problem with "civil unions". I rather that marriage was deregulated though.

I remember a guy I was working with. Never could keep his pants up, always saw the crack of his ass. We were doing some drywall, and I happened to have some Dapp butt crack cement.
It spackles cracks in drywall where drywall butts together, and there are some other cracks it spackles up too.
