So Whats Your Plans for World Peace?

It's easy to point out all the mistakes made up to this point by the U.S. and others.

And if you think WAR isn't a good option then................

Whats Your Plans for World Peace?

What would you have done with Iraq pre war.

What would you have done with Saddam after he invaded Iran?

What would you have done with Germany before the U.S. got involed in WW2.

What Was Your Plan for World Peace Pre 9-11

Whats Your Plan for World Peace? Post 9-11

Whats your plans for Korea and Iran.

Please keep it REAL. And don't post a link to some utopian society site.

I want to hear it from you since you know so much.

I want to hear your plans for world peace that you are Positive that would work. Not some pie in sky dribble.

Some of you think you know more then Bush and Co. And that are idiots.

So What if you were elected President of United States in 2000.

What would you have done since 2000 to make this World a better place?

Remember.... Please keep it REAL.

Is War the way to world peace? Or is talking our problems through going to bring us world peace?

Convince me your plans for peace are the ones we all should be following.

So......Whats Your Plans for World Peace?

So...... Whats Your Plans with Iraq post war.

Here is you chance to be the Leader of the Free World.

What will you do?

I wouldn't have supported him, or Iran for ecconomic gain by supplying WMD's. I think a security council resolution and millitary action would have worked to restore their soverign borders. And sanctions on arms trade.

The stopping of global domination by the far right US who consistantly veto UN resolutions pertaining to the furtherment of democracy, human rights and freedom yet manipulate the WTO, IMF and world bank in order to secure their trade markets, with the use of force if required. An opinion is all fair and good but a monopoloy on world decision making is a recipy for diaster, resnetment and hatred in those that these decisions affect for the worse.

Find out who planned and executed the attacks, go and arrest them and put them in jail after a fair trial. This does not involve bombing a country.

I think both countries have a right to further their millitary capacity just as much as the US does.

I'd get rid of Cheny, Rumsfeld, Perl and Wolofitz and put responsible people in charge.

War is not an answer, only through dialogue and understanding of each others views, needs and culture can we come to a situation where everyone respects each other even if their opinions are at a tangent.

If all countries lived up to the OECD goal of giving 0.7% of GNP in foreign aid, there is a fair chance of fighting poverty and uneducation, which is the tools most dictatorships uses to supress it's people. Impose weapons sanctions in dictorship countries. Strenghten the United Nations. Call for sanctions on the United States if they once again was caught supporting millitant dictatorships.

If you think i'm a utopist, name one country with a large middleclass and an educated population that are not relatively democratic!?

Followed the french suggestion of tripling the amount of inspectors in the country, send in UN peacekeeping forces, if he made any more attacks on innocent civillians.

Quote:

He didn't. If his ATTACK on Iran however had succeded - i would call for a UN Resolution to condemn the attack and order withdrawal, if that didn't work - im sure there would be concensus of sending UN forces to restore peace and the respetive borders.

Waited for the russians to succeed, if i were French or Brittish i would probably have fought.

Certainly not making even more muslims pissed at me!! A solution in the Isreaeli Palestinian conflict, would be a big step. Otherwise same as before.

North Korea: give them an economic aid programme in return for cutting their WMD research. Which should actually be done in any case - talk about humanitarian disaster. No one deserves this, not even if their goverment are pigs.

I don't believe in pre emptive strikes, in my book, people are innocent until otherwise is proven.

If they attacked someone (which i sincerily doubt they would) I would have no problem with swift powerfull counter attack.

Iran: Certainly not follow of the step of mr Bush, It's just plain stupidity to alienate the first relatively liberal and pro western leader since the revolution. I would certainly embrace the new leadership of the Iranian pairlament.

So What if you were elected President of United States in 2000
Remove the death penalty, reform the justice system, install healthcare system to help the 15% of the american population living below the UN povertyline, increase econmic aid, embrace the UN, send small capable undercover millitary units to destroy al Queda instead of waging full scale war on all muslim countries. That money could well cover the expences of the above.

Kick the US out of Iraq as fast as humanly possible, before they install a puppet US pro goverment. Hold free elections monitored by Neutral countries, personally i would favor Switzerland and Sweden.

did you make the decision to go to war? no. the person you elected did. thing is, you're asking me exactly how i would go about it - i'm not a politician - i wouldn't. so what would i do? i'd vote for a rational person, who would not start this war. i did so.

they didn't win, admittedly, but at least i tried the point here is, until the US started mounting up for war, you were not campaigning for a war in iraq. it was something you chose to support. likewise, i'm choosing to support something that would not have led to war. unfortunately, however, the ones i support can't be here to answer your question.

By voting for Bush, a person accepts him as president and supports his decisions, because the only reason he's making decisions is because he was voted in. He's making these decisions because he was voted in. Indirect, yes, but still responsible.

yes, but the thing is, asking me to choose what i would do is irrelevant. maybe suggest some things, and ask me which one i'd vote for? that's a better way of working.

the point is, i'm not a politician, i'm not in charge of these things. asking me what i'd do is like asking me how i'd remedy the economy - i'm not an economist. in a wider sense though, i would know what sort of fiscal policy i might support, given the rundown of each one's pros and cons.

hehe, so because you voted for someone you have to support them completly and without question. Great for you, not my cup of tea though.

Phily Baby and ertmann|CPH thanks for answering my questions.

I really wish things would work that way.

I really hold alot of your veiws.

but I think this war nessacery.

So,

When ever I think of this war I will always think about Ali Ismaeel Abbas the boy who lost his arms and got burned up.
Ali Ismaeel Abbas, a boy who lost both arms in a missile attack.

Yes I Did, and I feel responsible for Ali Ismaeel Abbas and the other horrors since I backed this war.

But, on the other hand I'm glad I backed this war because millions of Iraqi people are now free.

Blood Of The World's Hands

Sometimes it make me wonder
Sometimes it make me question
Sometimes it make me saddened
Always it makes me angry but...

When you can see it happening
The madness that's all around you
Nobody seems to worry
The world seems so powerless to act...

It's out of control
Blood on the world's hands
Each day a new toll

Another assassination
The same day a new creation
But what are they coming into
Security of a world that brings...

One day another killing
Somewhere there's someone starving
Another savage raping
Meanwhile there's someone laughing at us

It's out of control
Blood on the world's hands
Each day it goes on

Brutality and agression
Tomorow another lesson
Expecting another air raid
Praying for a ceasefire...

They say things are getting better
No need to be complacent
There's chaos across the border
And one day it could be happening to us

It's out of control
Blood on the world's hands
It's our epitaph
It's out of control
Someone should know
Blood on the world's hands
Someone should

why not? it's perfectly logically correct. if you didn't make up the US position on this, then you have no right to ask me to make up a position of my own. think about it. perfect sense.
