I have a problem with Winamp

Last night I hit run as administer on Windows 10 laptop & then after that no music would play at all & this what it would do:
1. It would just skip through every song but never play anything at all.
2. I checked to make sure mute wasn’t on & I checked the volume on my laptop & it wasn’t on mute either.
So I couldn’t find out what the problem was so I just gave up.

try to run a file in VLC, if still there is no sound then you might check with your sound drivers.

If this problem is only with WINAMP then the best solution is to reinstall the Winamp.
Re-installation always cure 90% of unknown problems.

Thanks.

If it's just quickly skipping through all the songs it could be the location or drive where the music is isn't available for some reason at that moment.

BUG #1 = Winamp skips short tracks

I figured out the problem it was where I moved my music folder to the home screen on my laptop & it fixed it when I removed all music & added it back

I've been caught out like that before.
All you get in Winamp is a catalogue listing of where the music is stored on your PC.
If you move the storage location on your PC then Winamp can't find it in it's old location.
Cheers
