Preferences -> Input Plug-ins -> Nullsoft CD/Line-in plug-in (in_cdda.dll). Check the box marked "Use CDDB".

When you insert a CD a little window should pop-up and disapear when WA (Winamp) finds the CD info. You must be connected to the internet to do this. It only needs to be done once for every CD.

You can also click on the "Now Playing" section at the top of the ML (Media Library) to find out more about the Album/Artist/etc. You must also be connected to do this.

Alt+3 to view/edit CDDB info for an individual Audio CD.

Or Media Library > Devices > CD drive > right click a track > Edit CD Info

Or Playlist window > right click a track > View File Info.

oh btw you didn't "upgraded" from Winamp3 v1.xx to Winamp 5.03 because they are diferent products, therefore you switched from one to another

and another thing, if you want to list your mp3s by album just go to the media library and under audio you have on the top left by artist and on the top right by album, the tracks appear bellow

NOTE: I am Dextro!
