WINAMP.M3U's location

Hi guys,

I'm installing several applications in my school for our school network. Winamp is one of those Programs. I want the people to be able to have their own playlist which is loaded on start and saved on exit.

Exactly that is done with the winamp.m3u

But at the moment I have one playlist per installed winamp. So at the moment I would need x times installed winamp for x users. Could you make an entry available in the winamp.ini to set the place for winamp.m3u ????

This would be very nice.

Or is that already possible and I don't know anything about that ??

Greetings,

XhE

Maby

You could make shortcuts to for all the users :
"c:\PathToWinamp\Winamp.exe c:\ThePlayList.m3u" only the playlist will not be saved when you exit , maby someone else will come up with a better idea.

Yes that is possible. But the saving thing could just be done by a code change of winamp or maybe a plugin. But changing winamp is first much easier and second, it takes more time to get in programming a winamp plugin than including a new winamp.ini option.

Hmmmm - Please developers, please include this option.
