When I insertaudio CD's the tracks list in winamp without any track time, then when I go to play them I get an error: "Unable to open device. Probably your system doesnt support Win32 driver cells."
I have an HP Pavilion 8562 Pentium 3 500 MHz processor with 128 megs of ram.. I think i meet the standards to support win32 driver cells.. I am running Windows 98 SE Please, any help would be grateful.. Thanx STeve |

Do AudioCD's play okay with other players, eg. Windows CD Player ?
Could you also tell us the make & model of your CD-ROM Device & Soundcard. Maybe you need to reload the (latest) drivers ? Is there definitely a cable connecting your CD-ROM to the soundcard ? You can always try replacing the default Winamp CD plugin with CDReader Be sure to read the accompanying txt file. |
