Absolutely No Playback in Winamp 5.666
This problem had suddenly occured on top of other computer problems (probably just the old thing dying), I had tried all of the suggestions in the sticky thread that was suggested to be read so here is some specs.
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 RAM: 1.75 GB Audio Drivers: Realtek '97 Winamp Version: 5.666 The problems nature is that Winamp acts as if the file has began playing (the window that pops up upon skipping songs or beginning playback) but no sound or equalizer movement. I have over 800 tracks and would like this solved since I prefer this player over iTunes |

it can be some days before replies (as almost all support on these forums are made by other Winamp users) and it's even less likely to get a response over a weekend.
based on you using Vista, have you made sure that via the Windows volume control that when Winamp is running that the Winamp volume slider is not set to 0% ? (as the in-Winamp settings look ok from a quick skim). |
