I have been a winamp user since ver 1.20
There is a large bug in winamp, that me and my friends have noticed. This bug has been around since the first winamp, and seems to have never been fixed. The problem happens when you try to enqueue or play from the right click menu. Winamp opens up a single copy of winamp per song, thus crashing your computer. We have checked to make sure the allow multiple instances is not checked under options. This problem does not happen all the time, just enough to be annoying and crash your computer. The enqueue as default action option is not an option that we like to use because it does not clear the winamp list when you click on a new song, however this option when selected does seem to fix this bug sometimes. Hopefully this bug can be fixed, its one thing holding up the greatest MP3 player EVER!

Well, for most people that "bug" never happens. It's more of a windows problem, I think.

Seems to be mainly Win2k specific so far.
Hey, what's new?

(There's been 1 or 2 reports of it happening in Win98SE/ME, but 95% = Win2k)

this one is a hardcore random bug. the only measurable factor which affects it is the way multithreading works on particular machine. NT seems much more likely to cause it than 9x (does NOT mean that NT is worse).
