Help! How do I get Jingles to play between shows

Im developing a site for a online radio station using shoutcast.

They have DJ's all around the world and at the moment, and (for example) during the switch from DJ#1 in Canada to DJ#2 in Ukraine, there is just an empty silence for however long, roughly 5 - 10 minutes.

Is there someway to automate (or even DJ#1 do some simple clicking to activate it before disconnecting) the play of a jingle/series of adverts from the period when DJ#1 disconnects until when DJ#2 Connects and starts his 2 hour slot etc?

Just did a search (which I should have done beforehand).
So using a backupfile is the solution.
Is this what everyone uses for jingles inbetween shows?
Does it automatically stop once DJ#2 starts his stream

assuming it's via sc_trans, you could just have a general playlist made of the jingle, etc which it'd use and then when the DJ connects then that will become active.

if you're doing it via the DNAS directly then it depends on the source if the new connection made will make the backup file stop being played when the new DJ connects (though the sc_trans or other program to do the same would be somewhat cleaner i think but that's just me).
