SHOUTcast 2.0 - Intro file
So after a few hours I have shoutcast 2.0 linux working on CentOS, what I now would like to do is have an INTRO file but unlike say a normal mp3 I need it to fetch an mp3 from the database so the best way I know how to do this is by on the server having a .htaccess that makes into.mp3 go to a PHP page and fetch an intro file to play that matches the bit rate etc.
However my issue is can shoutcast v2 have intro files from the same server but looking more like a URL address then a file address. If anyone can help that would be great |

.htaccess is an apache thing, isn't it?
No sure how you can make apache and DNAS interact at all, let alone nicely "If you don't like DNAS, write your own damn system" So I did |

the DNAS (be it v1 or v2) will only load local files it can access for the intro and backup files. there is no support for pulling from served up files nor is there any intention to do so in future builds.
