Log File Error

At times, the DNAS Server writes a few errors to the log, and that's all that's printed. The regular events such as track titles, IP's being connected/disconnected, etc., aren't there. Then, it will fix itself and work again like magic. What's going on?

code:
2014-02-26 17:43:57 ERROR [DST 98.139.168.98 sid=1] SHOUTcast 1 client connection rejected. Stream not available as there is no source connected. Agent: `Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Yahoo! Slurp/3.0; http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp)'

with no source connected, client connections are rejected, as clients would have nothing to listen to

with no source connected, how can there be track title events?

So I did

additionally checking for other log output near to those error messages will help to better determine why the source is not there and when it happened i.e. you usually have to look at the log as a whole and things in context rather than specific error messages (even when they clearly state why the error occurred).

What I noticed is that with DNAS 2.2.1, it will for whatever reason start reading a config file for a completely different stream which is found in the same directory (that's only intermittently active as a secondary stream). Then, it will switch back to our main configuration file, all without doing anything.

the DNAS does have the ability to re-load the config file but only when it is triggered via the admin interface i.e. someone or something has to be triggering that, but it should be looking at the same files (unless the files present change due to someone / something).

so how are you determining what you've noticed?
