Here are a couple more sites which may or may not be too much different. They may all use the same photos but I don't know.

http://www.terraserver.microsoft.com This is the first aerial photography site I found. It's all b&w and I think it only covers the US.

http://www.globexplorer.com This one I found by clicking on the aerial photo tab when I mapped an address at mapquest.com. I think all these photos are color. I haven't explored this site so I don't know much more about it.

[edit]You might want to check these out if you love aerial photography but I think the site that Chev posted looks like the best of the bunch.[/edit]

What a top site! Thanks Chev

Good lord... according to MapQuest, that desolate wooded area right behind my house through which a CP train line runs is actually a park. They didn't have a photo though.

edit: I'm interested to know why a weather satellite such as NOAA has such a high resolving power as to be able to pick out individual cars on the street.

hmm first reaction was to find nude beaches, but it turns out it doesn't close enough to see the whites of their eyes. i guess i should work for the nsa.

sucks that my city (220,000 people) doesn't have color aerial photos when many farmlands do in the middle of nowhere.

I found it because I know I live next to a person who has a pool, and I live right by some woods.

I put my address into Mapquest. I then recognized that T-intersection, so I could figure out where my house was exactly from there.

My house is about 4000 miles too far east to be on these maps.
